Our Story

Since 1999,

our team has been partnering with multi-family operators, owners, and developers to negotiate the ever-important, yet often burdensome, telecommunications contracts with national and regional vendors.

But there’s more to us than just negotiations and digital services. As a family-owned and operated company, we understand better than most the importance of long-term relationships built on trust and respect. We focus on building these types of connections with each of our customers.

Mike Coco

President

Mike Coco is the President of Choice. He leads the company’s vision and strategy while fostering relationships with staff, clients and service providers. Mike joined Choice in 2001, working in business development, account management and contract management before becoming President in 2013. Mike’s analytical strengths, team-focused leadership, and values-driven approach help Choice lean into every relationship and project with focus and determination.


Tia Murphy

Senior Vice President

Tia Murphy has been a cornerstone of Choice since 2010, bringing over a decade of leadership and dedication to her role as Senior Vice President. She oversees the Operations department, which includes Account Management, Contract Management, and New Business Development. With a hands-on approach to leadership, Tia’s influence extends across all aspects of client, vendor, and partner relationships.


Dean Wolfe

Vice President of Technology & Vendor Relations

Dean Wolfe is the Vice President of Technology & Vendor Relations at Choice, where he has been a key contributor since 2010. In his role, Dean provides strategic leadership in technology, oversees all vendor relationships, and takes the lead on special projects, ensuring the company’s technological infrastructure is efficient and aligned with business goals. He is responsible for managing all vendor partnerships, playing a critical role in maintaining strong and effective external relationships.

Tammy Hunter

Vice President of Account Management

Tammy Hunter brings over 25 years of experience in the multi-family industry to her role as Vice President of Account Management. In this capacity, Tammy leads the Account Management department, overseeing a team of six associates while managing relationships with all apartment clients. Her leadership ensures efficient operations and exceptional service delivery across a wide network of partnerships.

Lena Smith

Vice President, Project Solutions

Lena Smith brings over 25 years of expertise in business development, account management, and project management. Since joining Choice in 2013, Lena has managed numerous new construction and repurposing projects for development clients. She excels at collaborating with multifamily property owners, developers, and vendors to ensure seamless communication and deliver successful project outcomes. Her leadership and dedication have made her an indispensable asset to her organization and clients alike.

Walt Abood

Senior Director of Business Development

Walt Abood has been an integral part of the Choice Property Resources team since 2020, serving as the Senior Director of Business Development. In his role, Walt is responsible for overseeing all association business, supervising the Business Development team, and conducting independent sales as needed. With a leadership style grounded in collaboration, he ensures that each team member effectively manages their own module while providing strategic guidance.

Jennifer Coco

Director of Business Development & Marketing

Jennifer Coco is the Director of Business Development and Marketing at Choice. In this role, Jennifer is responsible for driving business development efforts, specifically targeting new apartment clients. She also oversees all marketing-related activities, ensuring that the company’s messaging and outreach effectively attract and engage clients. One of her key responsibilities is managing the onboarding process for any new apartment clients, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition. Jennifer graduated from Otterbein University, where she focused on Business, Sales, and Marketing.

Cassie McClure

Director of Operations

Cassie is the Director of Operations at Choice, where she has been a key member of the team since 2013. In her role, Cassie oversees administrative support for the Operations department, including Account Management, Contract Management, and Business Development. She is responsible for supervising a team of administrative staff who ensure the smooth operation of processes within these departments.

Kaylyn Mallory

Director of Contract Management

Kaylyn Mallory is the Director of Contract Management with a passion for leadership and team development. She has been with Choice since 2019, where she oversees a talented team of telecom contract managers, focusing on Charter bulk contracts and managing relationships with numerous vendors. Kaylyn’s role is integral to ensuring smooth contract operations and fostering collaboration across departments.

Dawn Kevwitch

Accounting Director

Dawn M. Kevwitch is the Accounting Director at Choice, having joined in 2023. In her current role, Dawn is responsible for overseeing accounting, payroll, and finance operations. Her extensive experience ensures the company’s financial processes are efficient and well-managed.

Doug Case

Contract Operations Manager

Doug is the Contract Operations Manager at Choice, where he has been a valuable team member since 2017. In his role, Doug is responsible for overseeing opportunities for new clients, managing new properties added to existing client portfolios and associations, and reviewing various reports to identify missing payments. He works closely with associates to ensure payments are captured and processed efficiently. Additionally, Doug manages several relationships with vendors, contributing to the overall success of the company’s operations.

Lisa Jeffries

Business Development Manager

Elisabeth (Lisa) Jeffries is a dedicated Business Development Manager with a passion for building strong client relationships and driving sales success. Since joining Choice in 2022, Lisa has been responsible for managing contract sales to associations across Ohio, overseeing partnerships with nine management companies. Her ability to foster meaningful collaborations and deliver value to her clients has established her as a trusted professional in her field.
Lisa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Public Relations from Ohio Northern University and a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Salem University, equipping her with the expertise to navigate complex professional landscapes effectively.



Tia Wells

Account Executive

Tia Wells joined the Choice in 2020 and has brought over 25 years of experience in account management to her role as an Account Executive. She oversees and manages almost over 20 client accounts, specializing in recommending tailored products and services to maximize value and boost ancillary revenue. Her extensive background, including a successful tenure at Charter/Spectrum, has equipped her with the expertise and dedication to deliver outstanding client service.

Jake Higgins

Account Executive

In his role, Jake manages and grows client relationships, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations between clients, vendors, and Choice. With a portfolio of twenty-five clients, Jake is adept at fostering strong connections and driving success.

Josh Brown

Account Executive

Josh is a seasoned Account Executive with extensive experience in customer relations and business development. In his current role, he manages a portfolio of 10 client relationships, helping them navigate complex business needs with tailored solutions. He joined the team in 2024, bringing over a decade of expertise in strategic account management.



Shanell Tutstone

Account Executive

Shanell Tutstone is a dedicated Account Executive, starting with Choice in 2024. In this position, she excels at building and maintaining client relationships, identifying new opportunities, conducting presentations, and ensuring client satisfaction. Shanell is committed to overseeing and nurturing several key client relationships, ensuring their needs are met with care and professionalism.

Abigail Kent

Account Executive

Abigail Kent joined Choice in 2024, bringing her expertise in client relationship management and personalized service to the team. In her role, she ensures client needs are met while acting as a trusted advisor, offering tailored solutions that support business growth and success. Abigail’s ability to build strong, enduring relationships with clients and partners sets her apart in her field.

Patrick Hayes

Business Development Representative

Patrick Hayes is a dedicated professional in Business Development, having joined the team in 2023. He is responsible for managing vendor contract sales to associations across North and South Carolina. Patrick’s role involves overseeing key relationships with community managers and association boards ensuring successful collaborations and contract negotiations.


Kim Pittman

Business Development Representative

Kim Pittman brings a decade of experience in business development and a lifelong passion for building meaningful connections. As a Business Development Representative at Choice, Kim oversees relationships with a major management company in North Carolina’s Triangle Area, supporting over 100 associations. Her approach is rooted in clarity, collaboration, and driving win-win outcomes that generate revenue for both partners and Choice.
