Meet Our Team

Mike Coco, President

As President, Mike Coco manages the daily operations and company strategy for Choice. Since joining the company in 2001, Mike has immersed himself in the multifamily industry. His expertise in telecom technology and ancillary contract negotiations has increased the asset value for mid-sized property owners nationwide. In 2006, Mike became a Certified Apartment Supplier with the National Apartment Association.

Walt Abood, Business Development Manager

Walt helps our condominium and association clients in successfully navigating the challenges around telecom services and right-of-entry terms in vendor proposals and contracts. Walt joined Choice in 2020 after a successful business development career in Enterprise services for Verizon Wireless. He has over 40 years of experience as a business owner and executive leader.

Tia Murphy, Senior Vice President

With a background in administration, training and education, Tia joined Choice in 2009. She leads both the Account Management and Contract Management departments. Tia challenges her team to discover ancillary service opportunities that best fit each property owner’s business goals and to increase client efficiencies. Tia’s team also manages Choice’s role in development and new construction projects.

Jen Cichowski, Vice President, Accounting

Jen plays a key role in the financial operations and management for Choice. With over 25 years of experience, Jen leads the team in financial forecasting, analysis, management reporting, HR, IT and administrative corporate matters. She identifies technology innovations to bring efficiencies and valuable strategies to our systems in serving our clients.

Dean Wolfe, Vice President, Technology & Vendor Relations

Dean joined Choice in 2010 with over 20 years of experience in business management, marketing and property management. He negotiates and implements national vendor contracts for our multifamily operators. Dean stays current with the latest technologies and trends to discover the right solutions for our clients’ properties. He also handles management reporting, analysis and new staff training.

Tammy Hunter, Director, Client Relations

Since 2013, Tammy manages ancillary services contracts for our national multifamily client accounts. With vast property management experience, having served as a property manager of a 380-unit property. Tammy also gained multifamily experience working with Cass Information Systems managing utility billing expenses.

Jennifer Coco, Business Development Executive

As a member of the business development team, Jennifer connects and builds relationships with owners and developers of multifamily properties. She plays a key role with multifamily operators to strengthen ancillary contracts. Jennifer has over 15 years of business experience and with four years of experience working with the companies that partner with Choice, she understands what it takes to make help make them successful.

Cathy Cory, Account Executive

Cathy has over 35 years of experience in customer service and account management with five years at Choice. Cathy has worked in the Account Management department as a Property Coordinator and now as an Account Executive. Cathy works in tandem with clients to expand opportunities to increase ancillary revenue through telecom, laundry, and cell tower contract execution.

Lena Smith, Project Solutions Manager

Lena has over 25 years of experience in business development, account management and project management and is licensed in real estate. She is experienced with managing a high volume of development and construction projects for our clients. As our expert Project Solutions Manager, she works directly with multifamily property owners/developers and vendors, providing a dedicated contact for their projects. She brings a streamlined approach and process to successfully obtaining and facilitating the installation of telecommunication and laundry services for construction properties.

Tia Wells, Account Executive

Tia has over 25 years of experience in telecommunications that includes over a decade in the multifamily industry. Her experience includes customer service, sales, account management, and building long-lasting partnerships. Working for various telecom vendors throughout her career, she has a deep understanding of the industry and can share this knowledge with Choice clients. As an Account Executive with Choice, Tia works to understand each client’s individual needs and recommends products & services that maximize value and increases ancillary revenue.

Julie Nash, National Sales Executive

As a telecommunications expert with more than 20 years of experience, Julie works closely with Choice’s clients to understand and create unique solutions for their needs.

She joined Choice in 2020 and focuses on building and fostering strong relationships with owners and developers of multifamily properties. Prior to joining Choice, Julie worked with multiple telecom companies throughout the Midwest and Georgia in both Business Development and Sales Management roles.
